Chisel is a mod that adds the chisel item, which you can then use to chisel most vanilla blocks into, at maximum, 24 different forms. This mod adds both items and blocks into the B-Team, and is mostly an aesthetic feature to the mod-pack.
To access the chiseled versions of blocks (if available), you will fist need to create the chisel tool. It can be created with iron ingots and sticks in shapeless crafting like shown below.

When right-clicking the chisel whilst equipped, it should bring up a GUI menu with 4x2 grids on both the right and left hand side, as well as a slot with a "ghost" block in the center, which is directly underneath the words "Carve block".
To begin crafting different variants of minecraft blocks, place the block of which you want to carve into the "Carve block" slot. Once placed in this slot, various different textures of the current block should appear in the surrounding 4x2 grids. Conveniently, one can carve already carved blocks in this way. If the different textures do not show up, the block you are trying to carve may not be compatible with this mod, or is not intended to be carved in this manner.
